My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book, now don't get me wrong I have loved all of Brown's books with Langdon as the main character but normally after awhile the story lines becomes completely stagnant. There is some recurring themes running throughout the story, a woman side-kick, okay we pretty much knew that one was coming, but a double crossing one nope didn't see that one coming.
I particularly liked Brown's use of amnesia as a creative way to tell some of the tale. Favorite character would have to be Marta Alvarez, I know she was just a small part but she out of everyone merged for the reader some of the pivotal events that happened before Langdon's amnesia and the current path he was rushing down with amnesia, a little past meets present, but I just liked her because she was spunky.
And did anyone find it just a like ironic that Marta was pregnant and Dr. Sinskey was infertile given the ending to the story?
