Empty Mansions: The Mysterious Life of Huguette Clark and the Spending of a Great American FortuneEmpty Mansions: The Mysterious Life of Huguette Clark and the Spending of a Great American Fortune by Bill Dedman
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Genre: Non-Fiction/Biography

A sad story of an heiress that never seemed to grow up. The story was really interesting but the way the author presented the facts was a little confusing because he constantly flip-flopped back and forth through the years of Hugette's life, not telling her story in any kind of order. I read a lot and still had a hard time keeping up with all of it. I feel that the information just wasn't organized enough and that this is why the book is so stilted instead of flowing. The only reason I was able to finish the book is because of my interest in the subject matter.

Thanks for coming by,
Amy
